Aprilia recently unveiled its 2024 race bike, the RS-GP24, after conducting testing at Sepang. The Italian company has been making strides in MotoGP and hopes that the upcoming season will be its best yet. The RS-GP24 showcases Aprilia's technological prowess and commitment to innovation.
Under the leadership of Romano Albesiano, the Aprilia Racing Division made several technical revisions to the RS-GP. Albesiano emphasized the team's efforts to enhance an already potent platform, stating, "The RS-GP is a mature project that we have sought to advance in every aspect, especially in aerodynamics."
The focus for 2024 is advanced aerodynamics, evident in the RS-GP24's bodywork. The bike features front winglets, a fully enclosed fairing, and a redesigned exhaust system. Aleix Espargaro, a long-time Aprilia rider, expressed excitement for the new bike, while Maverick Viñales highlighted his rigorous training regimen for the upcoming season.
Newcomer Miguel Oliveira joins Aprilia for 2024, alongside Raúl Fernández, who will race with a 2023-spec bike upgraded to meet the performance standards of the RS-GP24.
